My name is Lindsey and I have been married 11 wonderful years to an amazing man named Ron. Together we have 3 beautiful daughters. I am a teacher, writer, and a musician. I love the Lord with all my heart and no one can ever make me turn from that! I adore being a mother and a wife and I try not to take things in life for granted. Life is precious! Well, as hard as it is to say goodbye I will be closing Peaceful Island Mother's door before the end of this year. As soon as the custom domain name expires I will not be renewing and deleting the blog forever. I just have not been able to keep up like I had hoped or was able to build up readership for that matter. I have been enjoying my time as a freelance writer and blogger earning an income for my family on the side so it takes up my computer time. I have strict times on the computer as a homeschooling mom and felt this was best. But....and this is a BIG but, I will be starting a new blog (name undisclosed at this time). It will be a blog about raising children up as unto the Lord etc., I will be devoting myself to this blog ministry up to three times a week to start maybe less. This blog will be more of an accountability thing for myself to keep me training my children up in the Lord. The blog will also reflect our homeschool journey. It's been a rough start so maybe connecting with other homeschool mom bloggers will help me stay focused and motivated and strengthen my relationship with Jesus Christ.
Peaceful Island Mother was a great run for myself and the readers that did stay dedicated, even to something that wasn't even consistent and for that I want to thank you.
